Raja Yoga Healing Meditation - July

Raja Yoga Meditation helps you reach a deeper understanding of yourself, your intrinsic positive qualities and your innate value. There is beauty in all of us and through meditation the inner beauty not only is revealed to the self, but also to the people around us. Join practitioners from the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University to explore these universal concepts and encourage your inner spiritual development toward a fresh perspective on values such as justice, freedom, respect and love.
On Saturday, July 26 from 4:00-5:45 PM, participants will explore the A.R.T. of Healing (Awareness Realization and Transformation). This session will be interactive and experiential, where your tools for the inward journey will be explored and shared.

Summertime Dance Your Fanny Off

Families with young children, come join us for a special dance party celebrating music from around the world. As always, it is freestyle dancing aimed at getting everyone movin' and groovin'.

This program is for new walkers up to 5 years old with their caregivers.

Pinterest Live - DIY SPA

Wondering if any of those homemade beauty product recipes on Pinterest actually work? Do you spend time pinning handmade scrubs and creams to a board thinking you will give them a whirl someday? Well let's roll up our sleeves together and bring some of those pins to life!  Join staff librarian and DIY enthusiast July 29th at 7:00 pm as we sample some recipes and recreate a few other.  Ages 12 and up. Registration required.

Zumba from Around the World

Zumba is a fitness class that combines dance and fitness. It is all the rage nowadays. This dance mingles Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system. Dance routines like Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Mambo, Bhangra, Hip-Hop and Flamenco are used in this class. The fusion of Latin dance rhythms and moves provides an excellent group exercise experience.
Join us for a lively, fun session of Zumba on Saturday, July 19 at 10:00 AM.

De-stress with Kundalini Yoga

In this class we will become aware of stressors and how they  influence our communication, our relationships and our performance. Kundalini Yoga instructor Rajwant Kaur Khalsa will teach you to do Yoga and meditation to release the stress so we can put up with life's challenges without losing ourselves.
Join us for an hour and a half class of Kundalini Yoga on July 2, 7:00 PM to add peace into your everyday life. Wear comfortable clothing and do not eat before class. Please bring a bottle of water.

Total Wellness with Tai Chi

The goal of this program is to achieve total wellness of mind and body with the use of the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi.

Join Julie Burt, Head Coach, Personal Trainer, Fitness and Tai Chi Instructor in finding your energy as you refresh and strengthen your body. Learn a set of simple flowing Tai Chi movements that will enhance your health and fitness. This workout will also let you cultivate your internal energy for total wellness.
