Traditional Yoga Basics

On Tuesday, July 9 from 4:00-4:45 PM, Thirupu Siva will teach young people from 6-16 years of age the basic asanas, building up to various intermediate poses. Please wear loose fitting clothing and bring a towel or yoga mat to work on. Registration for this program begins on May 29.

Zombie Survival Boot Camp

What would you do if zombies were everywhere? Would you know how to stay alive and save your family? You will be well equipped after participating in the Zombie Survival Boot Camp. You will learn real first aid skills that can be applied to everyday life, or a zombie take over. Teens, join us on July 29 from 2:00-3:30 PM for a thrilling first aid lesson.

Walgreens BP Checks

Join us on the first day of Connect Your Summer, our summer reading program, for a free blood pressure check from our partners at the Canton Walgreens. Many activities will take place in our Community Room on June 17 to celebrate the beginning of summer. This one might actually save your life. Walgreens will be here from 2:00 to 3:00 PM so come get checked out.

Road to Recovery: Breaking the Cycle of Addiction

RoadCantonite Chris Dimanin will describe how family and friends can be successful in getting their loved ones into treatment without the services of a professional interventionist. He will share the very effective "Love First" model of recovery as well as share helpful resources and "how to" books. This could be a life-saving conversation. Canton Senior Book Discussion: June 27, 2013
