Read a Book About Detroit

I read a book to earn this badge:
Belle Isle to 8 Mile: An Insider's Guide to Detroit
I'm going to buy a copy of Belle Isle to Mile: An Insider's Guide to Detroit to add to my travel collection at home. It breaks Detroit down into recognizable areas (Downtown, Corktown, Southwest, etc.) and lists accommodations, restaurants & bars, cultural and entertainment options - just like a real guidebook to a real city! One concern: if a real tourist picked up this book, they would not know to avoid Highland Park, or that walking from Corktown to downtown, while doable, is not necessarily a good thing to do at night. Overall, though, a great resource and a source of pride and enlightenment for this native Detroiter.
