I'm going to Greenfield Village later in july to do something called Discovery Camp. This is going to be my sixth time doing the camp (7th grade). Each year is different depending on your grade level (2nd-8th and sometimes 9th). It only lasts for five days and the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th graders get to sleep over. You get to walk around Greenfield Village, learn about history, get some sunlight on your face and do fun activities! I love Discovery Camp! :)

Ernest Hemingway's memoir A Moveable Feast was most illuminating about life in Paris in the 1920s. This book transported me back to the time period when F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ezra Pound, James Joyce, Gertrude Stein, and Hemingway were all there. Now these literary giants feel like old friends to me.

This summer my Grandma is moving away. I've been visiting her on the weekends to help her go through boxes of pictures and coool old stuff. Pictures of my Mom, Aunts, and Uncles when they were babies and old jewelry were the coolest things I saw from back in a different time.

This book was about laura ingalls wilder's life story. It went back in time to pioneer days. Laura is funny in the biography.

"What's Left Behind"

It's time travel because it was written by Shakespeare and this version is set somewhere near the end of the 18th century - or so I surmise from the costumes, swords, ships, & carriages. Delightful!

i learned about so much about history and not to be bored i also had fun there

We went to greenfield village to learn what people do during old times such as preparing food and planting. We visited old houses of famous personalities such as Thomas Edison.
