Read to Thorndyke

Come to the library and read to Thorndyke, the resident bear in the Children's Library. He's a very good listener and won't bite.

Took a Trip to the Detroit Zoo

We bought a zoo by Benjamin Mee — After our visit to the Detroit zoo, I checked this out for further reading. I loved the way the author describes the painful acquisition and renovation of a downtrodden zoo, yet the decision to purchase the dilapidated park and animals was never an impossible dream.

I read to my furry friends

I gathered a group of animal friends and read them my favorite book.
