I'm hoping to have the opportunity to try the more official dog sports mentioned in this book, like agility and dock diving, in the future. We tried lure coursing last fall and Coraline loved it. She's pretty quick to catch on to most things and likes the challenge of following the rules of organized activities. At an informational meeting about the Canton Dog Park earlier this month, we learned that in the future they might offer agility days when dog park members could try out various activities. I hope they do!

Adult Bishons are as tall as a basketball and they do not shed.

Took a trip back in time and saw the animals at Greenfield village today.

She's a little Shorkie from Homeward Bound rescue group.  She turned two last week and is a wonderful, sweet companion.

I emailed a picture of my dog, Jelly, to CPL to be used on the library Brightboards.

I made my mom read me If You Give a Moose a Muffin, by Laura Numeroff, about a million times. I think a moose for a pet would be great.

This summer I adopted a squirrel who lives in the Preserve at Fellows Creek, and I recently conducted a test to determine whether he prefers chocolate chip cookies to apple cores.  His new nickname, "Chips" and the attached picture indicate the answer to that perennial question.
