Bedtime for Bear by Brett Helquist

My little brother and I ran all over our front yard and sprayed each other with the hose. The water was very cold but at the same time it was very refreshing because of the heat wave. Our grass is going to be so green... :)

Two weeks ago, my family and I went to the Sleeping Bear Dunes! I had fun on the cooling off at beach after walking on a 3 mile trail.

While on vacation last week in the Outer Banks, I took a daily sunrise beach walk. One morning, I came upon this starfish washed up on the sand. I turned it over (gently) and noticed its tube feet were still moving! Though the surf was kind of rough, I figured the starfish didn't stand a chance of surviving as it was stranded on the beach. So I picked it up and tossed it back into the ocean. I hope it survived...
