Everything on a Waffle

Everything on a waffle by Polly Horvath

Primrose Squarp's parents have been lost at sea for months, but she insists they're still alive somewhere, shipwrecked and waiting for rescue. As she waits for their return, she moves in with her uncle, befriends the sassy owner of The Girl on the Red Swing cafe (where everything is served on a waffle), and deals with her school's snooty guidance counselor, Miss Honeycut. I loved the colorful cast of characters in this book, as well as the vivid descriptions of Primrose's hometown of Coal Harbour, British Columbia.

We had chocolate brownies with sprinkle on top. It's good.

We watched spongebob squarepants on TV during the break time.

We played scoccer in my backyard. This is the first time I played with team. It was great.
