I ordered takeout from Chopstick House in Canton. I got the lemon chicken; it comes with white rice. It was very good! I would definitely order from them again. Next time, I would like to dine in. When I picked up my food, I noticed that the restaurant was decorated wonderfully on the inside and had a great atmosphere about it. I recommend giving this place a try!
Rhiannon and I have visited the used bookstore in the library twice and have taken home 5 bags of books so far this summer.

People's Choice Award: Vote for your favorite quilt.
Every single time a new Star Wars or Star Trek book comes out, you guys have it within a week.
But if something is "deep" or thought-provoking, it never gets ordered. The Hugo Award winners, which is SciFi's highest award, and runner-ups, are never ordered. They are relevant, make people question and discuss our current world, and are great reading. Can you correct this?
I, at one point, saw that Secrets of My Hollywood Life: There's No Place Like Home was ordered for the library. I put myself on hold for this book and now when I go in to my hold basket and click on the book's title, it says it does not exist. I want to know if you are getting this book or not because I intend to finish reading the series of books and I don't wish to prolong the wait too much longer. I would like to know if I need to go out and buy a copy to read once, or will you be getting this book after all? I'm sorry if that sounded rude in any way :/. Thank You for your time!
The donation is the result of book sales and fundraising efforts by the Friends group, who have contributed more than $64,000 to the library in the past year. The Friends sponsor programs and events at the library such as Connect Your Summer, and purchase materials for the Michigan History, International Language and other collections.
"Given the reduced revenue over the last few years, the library has been forced to evaluate our priorities and make difficult decisions. We are truly blessed to have the army of volunteers and supplemental financing for programming that the Friends offer, making those decisions that much easier," said Siegrist.
Hoelscher stressed that the support the Friends provide comes from the community. "Our income comes mainly from the sale of pre-owned books at the Secondhand Prose Bookstore. Supporting the store and a membership in the Friends will help us continue to support your library."
