TargetTesting ACT Test Prep

TargetTesting, an ACT preparation nonprofit founded by high school students, is offering free ACT preparation to students.  This class is designed to raise students’ scores in the least amount of time by focusing on weaknesses, working on the application of knowledge to the ACT, and learning only the essential content.  TargetTesting further increases preparation efficiency by individualizing lessons.

The instructors are experienced on the subject of standardized testing. Prateek Sharma, a senior, scored a 35 on the ACT.  Benjamin Yang, a junior, scored a 33 on the ACT.  Charlie Hou, a junior, scored a 36 on the ACT.  All three scored within the top 1% of test takers nationally.  The instructors have also spent time helping fellow students for the ACT in independent efforts in the past year.

Registeration is required to join the class, which will be in 10-week sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:00.  The first session will take place on Sunday, June 22 and the last session will be on Wednesday, August 27. Having a library card is a requirement for registration.  This class is geared toward patrons who have completed 9th grade and above as the classes taken in 9th grade are the foundation on which the testing is based.  Please be aware that attendance is mandatory to get the most out of this class.
