Come one, come all! To celebrate March is Reading Month, we are hosting an open mic night for readers of all ages. We want you to bring in your favorite family-friendly short passage, poetry or picture book, step up to the mic and share with other literature lovers in the library. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 4 from 7:00-8:00 PM.
March is Reading Month celebrations will continue as we pick up a book and read to you. We'll celebrate our love of reading by sharing some of our favorite picture books for older children as well as a few chapter book excerpts. All ages are encouraged to stop by for a listen.

Please Note: Sylvan administers one form of the ACT diagnostic test. If you attend more than one of these sessions, you will be repeating the same test each time. As a result, any improvements in ACT score from one Sylvan session to another may not accurately reflect how one might do on the actual ACT test.
You may bring pillows, snacks, even your own comfy chairs. This film is rated PG.

CantonTargetTesting, an ACT preparation nonprofit founded by high school students, is offering free ACT preparation to students. This class is designed to raise students’ scores in the least amount of time by focusing on weaknesses, working on the application of knowledge to the ACT, and learning only the essential content. TargetTesting further increases preparation efficiency by individualizing lessons.
The instructors are experienced on the subject of standardized testing. Jordan Lu, Jeffrey Lu, and Jason Ren have all earned a scored of 35 on the ACT. They have also spent time substituting for and observing lessons of previous TargetTesting sessions. The experiences they have gained working with students in this capacity have prepared them to teach the class.
