Michigan Activity Pass is Back for 2014
The Library Network, Institute of Museum and Library Services, Library of Michigan Foundation and CultureSource have partnered with nearly 400 public libraries statewide to present the Michigan Activity Pass (MAP). Library patrons can use their library card online to print a pass allowing them complimentary or reduced cost access to 60 arts and cultural organizations across the state.
Starting May 24, Canton Public Library card holders will be able to print a pass, either at home or the library, to one of the 60 participating institutions on the MAP website. The MAP program is designed to enhance the learning experience for users of all ages through books and other library materials. Each pass will offer complimentary or reduced price admission, discounts in the museum gift shops or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders, for the duration of one week from the date printed.
Participating cultural partners include the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Howell Nature Center, the Michigan Philharmonic, Yankee Air Museum and many others. For a complete list, visit the MAP website.
