CPL Hosts 5th Annual "Stuff the Truck" Diaper Drive, November 20 & 21
The countdown to the fifth annual "Stuff the Truck" Diaper Drive has officially begun! Last year, you helped us collect a record setting 38,954 diapers to benefit the Canton-based Detroit Area Diaper Bank. On November 20 and 21, Canton Public Library hosts this year’s Diaper Drive with hopes of doubling last year’s donations. The library is counting on the generous members of the Canton community, and surrounding Metro Detroit communities, to contribute to the biggest diaper drive in Michigan.
The “Stuff the Truck” event will accept diapers during library business hours, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20 and Thursday, November 21. The truck, donated by the Hulett family, owners of Fat Chef in a Little Coat, will be parked in the library lot and ready to accept donations until it is stuffed. Diaper donations may be of any size or brand, baby through adult, even swim diapers or other incontinence supplies. Open packages of diapers are accepted, if labeled with size.
The Detroit Area Diaper Bank, a nonprofit charitable organization, distributes the diapers to SE Michigan partner agencies serving people in need. Please help support those in need in our community with your donation.
