Comic-Con 2012 is underway this weekend in San Diego, California. Your favorite books, movies, and TV shows are all present at this pop culture extravaganza. Get into the spirit by catching up on your favorites.
The hobbit, or, there and back again by J.R.R. Tolkien — Peter Jackson adds to his Tolkien trilogy with two movies based on this book. You can also find it in adult fiction.
The Wizard of Oz [videodisc] by a Victor Fleming production, a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer picture — Frank L. Baum's classic story is on the big screen again. This time by a new film called The Great and Powerful Oz. Some of the scenes for it were filmed last year in Michigan.
Serenity [videodisc] by Universal Pictures presents — The Firefly Reunion round table scheduled for Friday is generating a lot of buzz.
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer — The cast was on hand to promote the last movie in the series
