Election Reminder; Deadline Nearing for Voter Registration

Michigan residents have until Monday, October 7, to register to vote in the November 5 election. You can register by mail, in person at your local clerk’s office or any Secretary of State office. Not sure if there is an election in your area? Visit the Michigan Voter Information Center. It’s a great resource for voters that allows you to confirm you are registered to vote, find the location of your polling place and even see a sample ballot.

Celebrate the Fall in Michigan at an Apple Orchard

This year's apple harvest is predicted to be one of the best! Area apple orchards and cider mills are now open. Plan an outing and stock up on the seasonal goodies while they last. Celebrate Michigan by picking your own apples or pumpkins while enjoying some cider, doughnuts, hay rides and more. Go for a wagon ride at the nearby Plymouth Orchards and Cider Mill on Warren Road between Napier and Gotfredson Roads. More orchards and mills.
