Nominations for the 2009 Emmy Awards were announced earlier today. The winners will be announced on September 20 during a live broadcast on CBS to be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. First time nominees include How I Met Your Mother (CBS), Flight of the Conchords (HBO), and Weeds (Showtime) for Best Comedy Series and Big Love (HBO) and Breaking Bad (AMC) for Best Drama Series.
