Calling All Babies — June

Calling All Babies! If you are two years old or younger, join us Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 10:00-10:30 AM, as we explore Ducks and Water. We'll have fun learning about ducks and getting to play a bit, too. Moms, be sure to register your little one beginning on June 14. We look forward to seeing you there!

Tween Service Corps August 2012

Are you in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade and looking for ways to fulfill your community service requirement for school? Join us and work as our Tween Service Corps. You can earn one hour of your community service time and also have fun helping out in the Children's Department. Our next date will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you!

Target Family Reading Night — Outer Space Adventure

Our last Target Family Reading Night for the school year will be Monday, June 11, 2012 from 7:00-8:00 PM. We'll have fun on an Outer Space Adventure. Registration will begin May 24 and this program is open to children four to nine years old and their caregiver. Get ready to blast off with us!

Do you love looking at the illustrations in a picture book? Did you know there is an award that is given out yearly for just that? It's true! The Caldecott Winners are chosen based on their beautiful and artistic illustrations. We have an extensive collection of them in our Children's Department. Try one out today!

Going Green!

Join us Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM as we explore the act of Going Green! We will have the chance to learn about the plants that are all around us and get to plant a flower of your very own to take home and nurture. This program is open to kids in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade accompanied by a caregiver. See you there!  Registration will begin April 26, 9:00 AM.
