With Halloween fast approaching, it is time to read some great new ghostly tales. Spellbinder (Helen Stringer) features a twelve-year-old girl, Belladonna Johnson, who lives with the ghosts of her parents in the north of England. She teams up with an always-in-trouble classmate to investigate why all of the ghosts in the world have suddenly disappeared. Another book dealing with disappearing ghosts is by Daniel Pinkwater - The Yggyssey : how Iggy wondered what happened to all the ghosts, found out where they went, and went there. In the mid-1950s, Yggdrasil Birnbaum and her friends, Seamus and Neddie, journey to Old New Hackensack, which is on another plane, to try to learn why ghosts are disappearing from the Birnbaum's hotel and other Hollywood, California, locations. But more great ghostly tales have been published this year for your reading delight. Check some out and have yourself a spooky Halloween!
