Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection & Prevention Month

The American Academy of Dermatology reports that over a million new cases of skin cancer are diagnosed each year in the United States.  Since early detection and prevention saves lives, be sure to know your A, B, C's!  If you have a mole with any of the following: A - asymmetry, B - border irregularity, C - color irregularity or D - diameter greater than 6 mm (about the size of a pencil eraser) be sure to have it checked out.
