Computer Skills Lab for Beginners - November 14

If you or someone you know needs assistance with basic computer skills, including Internet use and setting up an email account, please stop in to CPL's Internet Lab between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 14 for our drop-in skills lab. We will have guided activities for practice with mouse skills, copying/pasting, and more.  A librarian will be on hand to answer any questions you may have or direct you to activities and tutorials to help build basic computer skills.

*This lab is restricted to basic computer skills, as listed above. Staff will not be able to assist with the diagnosis or repair of computer equipment, or with online financial transactions.

Hoopla eBooks and eComics coming November 01

Exciting news: on Sunday, November 1st, Hoopla is getting even better! In addition to streaming movies, TV, music and audiobooks, you can now use your Canton Public Library card to check out Hoopla's eBooks and eComics! Just like everything else on Hoopla, these eBooks and eComics are always available. 

In the meantime, you can use your library card to check out great music, movies and more on your tablet, smart phone or computer!

Gale Courses Begin September 16

Go back to school without leaving your home! Gale Courses offers 6-week online classes to help you freshen up your skills, or embark on a new academic adventure!

The Canton Public Library offers free Gale Courses to its cardholders, and the next set of classes is will begin on Wednesday, September 16. Learn on your own schedule, and receive a certificate of completion when you've finished. Our goal is to provide lifelong educational opportunities for you to gain new skills or improve existing ones.
