Rare Cheetah Birth in San Diego Zoo
According to a National Geographic article, a baby cheetah was born at the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park with the help of a doctored recording of a recently discovered male call that triggers ovulation. According to the article, cheetahs are difficult to breed in captivity because females do not have regular ovulation cycles. Check the CPL catalog to learn more about cheetahs and/or zoos.
