Louise Rennison Fans!

Are you a fan of Louise Rennison's book series that began with Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging? If you are, you may have been disappointed when she published her last book in the series in 2009. That is why I was so excited to hear that she is beginning a new series revolving around the misadventures of Georgia's younger cousin, Tallulah Casey! Withering Tights is due to be released on June 28, 2011 and promises to be just as fun and hilarious as the previous books. Must-Read Fiction!

It has been quite a while since I read a book that impressed me as much as The Nobodies Album by Carolyn Parkhurst. The story revolves around a best-selling author who has been estranged from her famous rock-singer son for the past four years, a residual effect of a past family tragedy. When her son is suddenly charged with the murder of his girlfriend, however, she desperately tries to make her way back into his life and piece together what actually happened. Interspersed throughout the novel are chapters of the newest book the main character is working on, which is a compilation of the endings of all of her previous books followed by new endings for each them.

If you have never read a Nicci French novel, now is the time to give it a try! This husband-wife team consistently write such fantastic British suspense fiction that as soon as you read the first page, you can barely put the book down until you reach the last. In this newest novel, The Other Side of the Door, a young woman finds her summer fling boyfriend dead and proceeds to do everything that she can to hide the body and remove all traces of evidence. As the story moves quickly along, you'll find yourself thinking that you know what's happened only to reach the twists at the end of the novel that always manage to surprise. This is definitely not a book to be missed.
