Board Holiday Party - Discussion was held as to the venue of the party which will be The Traditions at Cambridge on Saturday, December 6, 2008. Nancy Williams volunteered to coordinate food and beverage which will be provided entirely by the Board this year. Sheryl will order and address the invitations.
- Entry Door - The front entry doors have been malfunctioning and costs to repair them have reached approximately $4000 this year. The door opening mechanism is no longer made and parts are scarce. J. Laffey contacted Stanley and received quotes ranging from headers only to a full set of new entry doors. The doors are in good condition and we have decided to replace only the opening header mechanisms, which will be done on November 14th when the library is closed for staff in-service.
