Free Comic Book Day

Saturday, May 4 is Free Comic Book Day!  That's right, free comics at the library, courtesy of Comic City.  Starting at 9:00 AM, pick up a comic (one per person) at the Children's and East (Teen) Desk.  Supplies are limited, so get 'em while they last.

Eisner Award Nominees Announced

The nominations for the 2013 Eisner Award have been announced. Named after acclaimed comics creator Will Eisner, this is the 25th year of this award highlighting some of the best comics and graphic novels around.

WNBA YA Writers' Panel

The Women's National Book Association's third annual writers' panel is this April 24 at the Novi Public Library. The theme is young adult literature and how it spans generations of readers, with four award-winning Michigan YA authors on the panel. And, it's absolutely free!
