Award Winning Gingerbread House
We invite you to come view the gingerbread house on display now through the end of the year at CPL. It was awarded first place by Chef Neil Murphy, Executive Chef of Chartwells Catering, in a gingerbread house construction competition. The competition took place December 11th at Plymouth Christian Academy and was open to all PCA students in grades 9 through 12. The first place winner was Susannah Estoker, a sophomore at PCA. The inspiration for this award winning house came from the book, "Gingerbread For All Seasons," by Teresa Layman. The recipe used in the construction of this house is found in this book, along with several inspiring designs which will get your creative juices flowing. Armed with everyday kitchen ingredients, some fancy candies and a block of fondant, anything is possible!
