Saturday May 2nd is National Scrapbooking Day! This special day was first created by the National Scrapbooking Association as a way to celebrate and promote the art and craft of Scrapbooking. Great idea! I will look into planning one. Depending on Community Room availability we might offer one in conjunction with our Summer Reading Program this year especially since it dovetails nicely with our "Get Creative at your Library" Summer Reading theme for 2009.
