Inktober is the annual drawing challenge in October for artist of all skill levels. The goal is to work on your drawing skills by completing a drawing every day during the month of October. Here are some resources at Canton Public Library for inspiration and skills to practice.

Banned Book Week is the annual celebration of the freedom to read. Public libraries support intellectual freedom, the right for every individual to both seek and receive information from all points of view without restriction. Hero Hangout: Comics Reading Group

Love reading or creating comics? Come join us for Hero Hangout, every third Wednesday of the month. Hero Hangout is a Comic Book Club for ages 7-12 where you choose what to read! Each session starts with reading comics and in the second half you make your own comic. Participants are encouraged to bring a comic to share with the group but are not required. 

This program is offered the third Wednesday of the month, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, no registration required.
