TheMystery Writers of America announced the  2009 Edgar Awards on Thursday, April 30.  C. J. Box's Blue Heaven was awarded Best Novel,  The Foreigner by Francie Lin won for Best First Novel by an American Author and Meg Gardiner's China Lake won for Best Paperback Original.  A complete list of the nominees and the winners is available on the Mystery Writers of America website.
