eBooks and eComics now available in hoopla!

Hoopla just got better! In addition to streaming movies, TV, music and audiobooks, you can now use your Canton Public Library card to check out eBooks and eComics! Just like everything else on hoopla, there is never a hold list for this great new content.

Check out hot eComics titles from DC, Image, Dark Horse, IDW and more, or flip through great fiction and non-fiction eBooks that are always available!

RESCHEDULED! Dungeons & Dragons Gaming Club in November

DiceRoll up some fun with kid-friendly Dungeons & Dragons Gaming.  This monthly program takes place the fourth Monday of every month. Have fun using your imagination while also working on building problem-solving skills, practicing mathematics and chart-reading, and learning new vocabulary. The next session is November 30, 4:30-5:30 PM.  All playing materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own dice.  This program is suggested for ages 9-12.  No registration is required.

26th Annual Tail Wagger's Bowl

Love to bowl? Love to help animals? The 26th Annual Tail Wagger's Bowl fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Woodland Lanes in Livonia. Tail Wagger's is a non-profit organization that provides affordable preventative and wellness clinic services for pets. They also accept donations and offers the area's only pet food assistance pantry. Please register by November 1 online or call Tail Wagger's (734-855-4077) to save your spot.  

NHS Tutoring Returns November 2nd

NHS students are here to provide 3rd-12th graders free homework help. If you're interested in getting tutored:

  • You must be in 3rd through 12th grade
  • If you're under 12, your parent must remain in the library
  • You must bring the assignment and any other needed materials

Days and Times

  • Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM by the Teen Desk
  • Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM by the Teen Desk
  • Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM by the Teen Desk

There will be no tutoring during breaks or school closures/snow days.

In addition to streaming movies, TV, music and audiobooks, you can now use your Canton Public Library card to check out Hoopla's eBooks and eComics! Just like everything else on Hoopla, these eBooks and eComics are always available. 

In the meantime, you can use your library card to check out great music, movies and more on your tablet, smart phone or computer!
