Tooth Fairies

Hey kids, have you lost a tooth recently? Ever wondered how the tooth fairy came to visit you? Now you can go on an adventure with April and Esme Tooth Fairies to find out. April and Esme get a special request from Daniel's Grandma to make their first ever "tooth visit" on the title page of this book. Discover what it takes to be a tooth fairy and what they do if the child begins to wake up. If you liked April and Esme, you may enjoy our other tooth fairy adventures.

St. Patrick's Day

March 17th is just around the corner, my friends; and if you haven't had the chance to chase a rainbow, find a pot of gold, hang out with a leprechaun, or grow a garden of four leaf clovers, you can still read about them in our fun St. Patrick's Day themed books. If you're feeling lucky, try being crafty and make your own clovers or leprechauns out of paper, cardboard, or cookies. After all, a nice warm sugar cookie clover decorated with fine green sprinkles is always a winner! Enjoy the day! May the luck of the Irish be with you!

Book Sightings!

Hey Kids,
How well do you really know your book characters, like Flat Stanley or Amelia Bedelia? One way to find out is to take some book quizzes given on the HarperCollins Children's Book Site. Lots of great books have quizzes you can take to test your knowledge, or there are also fun games to play. Look for secrets in the Secret Life of Ms. Finkleman object game or help Bernie feed the beast in The Rotten School Game. The more you read, the better you will do!

Program Registration Email Confirmations

If you have registered for a program in last couple of days, you may have noticed that you did not get an email confirmation. This does not mean that your registration did not go through. We are experiencing problems with our email confirmations, but are working to fix the problem. You can confirm your registration by checking My Account. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Chicken Big

It's not a squirrel, it's not an umbrella, it's Chicken Big! In this hilarious tale of a very large creature, we get to use our investigation skills to discover exactly what this very large, yellow creature is. Is it a sweater, or an elephant? You'll have to read it to find out!

We have many other chicken adventures to choose from, maybe even a Chicken Little!

Green Songs not Just for St. Patrick's Day

When I think of St. Patrick's Day, I think of the color green. Frogs, leprechauns, grass, green beans, there are a lot of green things in this world. Sure, you hear a lot of Irish songs for the holiday, but there are many other "green" songs out there. Here are some other songs that celebrate all things green!

This question is followed by other questions about family, friends, love, and fear. Will Boy and Crow be friends? Check it out to find out. You can always check out some other bird adventures too!

Thorndyke's Book discussion

Hey Kids! If you've been following Thorndyke's Thoughts you know that he recently made a new friend!
