ZooZical a Musical Story
Have you ever wondered what zoo animals do when the visitors go home? Do they go to sleep, eat lots of food, play games? Well the zoo animals of ZooZical decide to put on a musical after all their visitors go home. In their musical, they sing some classic songs, but in a new, zooified way. Check out ZooZical, and enjoy they amazing talents of the giraffes, lions, kangaroos and one very special hippo.This may even inspire you to read about more talented animals!

Family Storytimes begin the week of September 12. These storytimes are designed for childrens ages 5 and under with a caregiver. Storytimes are held in the Community Room and do not require registration.- Mondays, 10:00-10:30AM and 1:00-1:30PM

- Wednesdays, 10:00-10:30AM and 7:00-7:30PM
- Thursdays, 10:00-10:30AM

Farewell, Miss Kristen
It is with greatly mixed emotions that we bid a fond farewell to our Children's, Tween & Teen Services Program Specialist, Kristen Kostielney. Kristen will be leaving us in September to take a position as a head start teacher with the Campagna Center in Alexandria, Virginia. Please join us in celebrating the nearly 21 years Kristen has spent with CPL and wishing her all the best with a farewell reception on Thursday, September 15 from 5:00-6:30PM in the Purple Room. Kristen's departure opens up a position here at the library and we are currently accepting applications for the Children's, Tween & Teen Services Program Specialist position.

Storytime at the Canton Farmer's Market
The library will host a storytime with crafts at the Canton Farmers Market on Sunday, July 10. The Canton Farmer's Market is open from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at Preservation Park.Storytimes will be at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.
